Eastern Islands

The Eastern Islands are the many domes within the Matoran Universe located within the left arm of the Great Spirit Mata Nui. Amongst others, the domes of Corrunai, Kopen Nui, La Nui, Marak Nui, Nynrah, Odina, Resi Nui, Unknown, and Visorak are housed therein.
History
The Eastern Islands were created by the Great Beings during the construction of the Matoran Universe. The islands quickly became the home to several Sapient Species and have since become one of the most densely populated parts of the universe.
Landscape
Due to the diversity of the locales, the landscape of the Eastern Islands varies greatly from location to location.
Inhabitants
- The Matoran are the primary inhabitants of many of the Eastern Islands.
- The Corruns of Corrunai, the Semi-Matoran Noviris of Kopen Nui, and the Rakile of Nynrah are some of the exclusive Sapient Species that call the Eastern Islands home.
- There are a great many species of Rahi native to the Eastern Islands.
