Midwestern Islands

The Midwestern Islands are the many domes within the Matoran Universe located within the right torso of the Great Spirit Mata Nui. Amongst others, the domes of Choaus Nui, Destral, Detark Nui, Kaiva Nui, Kamas Nui, Kemet Nui, Korlok, Nurane Nui, Onurak Nui, Ouir Nui, Tiuarga Nui, Xen, Yezo Nui, and Zelix Nui are housed therein.
History
The Midwestern Islands were created by the Great Beings during the construction of the Matoran Universe. The islands became the home to several Sapient Species, and the region has become one of the most well-traversed parts of the universe.
Landscape
Due to the diversity of the locales, the landscape of the Midwestern Islands varies greatly from location to location.
Inhabitants
- The Matoran are the primary inhabitants of many of the Midwestern Islands.
- The Mecha and Horde of Malu Nui, the Saginui of Byblos Nui, the Sebåu of Kemet Nui, the Semi-Matoran Idenka of Korlok, the Tchai of Kush Nui, and the Vorukan of Punt Nui are some of the exclusive Sapient Species that call the Midwestern Islands home.
- There are many species of Rahi native to the Western Islands.
