Pelekuā is the rugged and boisterous Turaga Sāh of Rahi and an elder on the Isle of Kemet Nui.

Biography

Southern Continent

Pelekuā was once a Kur-Matoran Koryl Herder on the Southern Continent. He was summoned to the Island City of Metru Nui, along with nine other Matoran.

Metru Nui

Pelekuā was transformed into the Toa Sāh of Rahi at the Great Temple.

Fractured

Sadly, while trying to help liberate Kemet Nui, Toa Pelekuā suddenly went missing during a mission to hunt down Āpep near the Ta-she Lowlands.

When the Åtukåm leader of the Beţshu was imprisoned behind a Toa Seal, and there was still no sign of Pelekuā, naturally he was presumed dead.

The Balance Reborn

Abilities & Traits

As the Toa Sāh of Rahi, Pelekuā's mastery over his Elemental Power granted him absolute control over any and all living Rahi in the surrounding area. Among other things he could reflexively placate Rahi to hinder an attack, drive Rahi into a savage frenzy, or lull Rahi to sleep through sheer force of will.

Mask & Tools

Pelekuā abilities were greatly augmented by the Kanohi Kaukau, Great Mask of Water Breathing, that he wore. It allowed him to breathe only water for a limited amount of time and thus granted him access to aquatic Rahi in addition to terrestrial beasts.
